Pitt and Jolie form visitation agreement with conditions

When a relationship is in turmoil, the door is open for all manner of emotional and even physical conflicts. And when feelings boil over, it is all too easy to lash out at someone you love. Unfortunately, if the party on the other end of an unfortunate incident happens to be your child, it is possible that there could be an intervention on behalf of the authorities.

Such situations are difficult to manage and if one occurs in conjunction with divorce proceedings, your child custody and visitation rights could be jeopardized. And these are circumstances that movie star Brad Pitt currently finds himself in.

Recently, Pitt's wife, Angelina Jolie filed for divorce. The filing came on the heels of an alleged incident involving Mr. Pitt and his 15-year-old son that is to have taken place on a private plane. Reportedly, the FBI has been gathering information about the case. But currently, no investigation is being conducted.

Happily for Mr. Pitt, he and Ms. Jolie have reportedly agreed to temporary custody terms that grant Mr. Pitt visitation with his six children. However, sources say there are conditions. During Mr. Pitt's first visit there must be a therapist present. Moreover, both parties are said to have agreed to attend individual counseling sessions.

Child custody issues are always more complicated when there are allegations of abuse or other negative behaviors. And if you are on the receiving end of such accusations, it can be extremely beneficial to have an experienced family law attorney representing your interests. The attorney can help you create terms that allow you the visitation or custody rights you deserve.
