In some cases, these individuals are facing felony charges for dodging their child support payments.

Woman admits perjury after faking threats from ex-husband

A Florida woman has been convicted of perjury and was given a five-year suspended sentence for faking email and Facebook posts in order to win a child custody case. The 25-year-old Brooksville resident pleaded guilty to the perjury charge on July 9. The custody battle will continue in domestic relations court on July 15.

Pacers star Paul George seeks sole custody of daughter

After meeting in Florida, a New York woman says in court documents that a prenatal paternity test indicates that Indiana Pacers player Paul George is the biological father of her 2-month-old daughter. The basketball player plans to seek sole custody if an additional paternity test indicates that he is the father.
